Nothing can kill your driving quest like having to fight speeding tickets. Since I am hungry to drive…fast that is; the all inclusive conundrum with it is deemed speeding tickets. I execrate speeding tickets.
I am confident that I am not the only one who has been cited with one of these “infractions.” They are deplorable for the most part. Like… There was this one time I was taking a road trip with my side kick and I got ticketed for traveling 35mph too fast. There were no pending speed limit changes coming off the freeway on the Oregon Coast.
If a speedometer on a vehicle reads up to 120mph, why make a speed limit that is god awfully slow on the highway? They depend on you to mess up so they can pilfer your money. I guess cops enjoy making you feel tarded by asking you where you are headed in such a hurry. Duh! They must assume you are stupid enough to confess you’re guilty before you have a chance to defend yourself.
Fight speeding tickets by finding the loopholes in the system! A nominal speeding ticket is just a costume for the real cost. It seems to me that you habitually get directed to arise in court amid working hours so that you successively lose more doe. Now your hundred dollar infraction has methodically turned into an equitable ticket. There is no good in conjunction with speeding tickets. So I support appealing speeding tickets every time.
It would seem if you are female you have an eminent chance of entertaining a warning rather then the other pink slip, well that is if you are blessed enough to get pulled over by a guy cop. This is a true story. I was cruising up some road in Washington and I was pulled over for passing on a double yellow, in line with on coming traffic, which this one ironically for me, happened to be a light green cop car, perusing at a cool 90 in a 35mph zone, with a Washington license, a car registered in California, and auto insurance in Arizona!
Now I fancy that I got off with a warning because I was wearing one of those bikinis that make your boobies look really big, but in light of all those profanations which were undoubtedly without question, I got off because he could not confirm that I was speeding. I mean he did not have a measuring device; he was unable to pace me and there were no air cops either so evidently he was without anything for his defense.
Thank Heavens I got lucky that time, but that was an anomaly, and is not likely to occur again. Anyways, I had come across this book on disputing speeding tickets which is brilliant because now I know that cuteness will not really get you off the hook. However, I have a positive outlook on how to get my traffic tickets lowered if not completely terminated!
This probably won’t happen again and my driving chronicle is not really good, so I have to pay an arm and a leg to keep my car insured and I cannot stand traffic school. How many licks does it take to get to the tootsie roll center of a tootsie pop? Come on! It is like being in kindergarten again. I know how to drive and I know the traffic laws I just have difficulty when it comes to obeying them. Like sex, I know that not having it is is a sure fire way of fortifying yourself against STDs but I would rather use protection!
Someone tell me please! How do you receive a speeding ticket going that slow? I know grandmas that can amble with more speed than that! No doubt not speeding is most apparent way to bypass moving violations but if you are at all like me you just cannot for lack of better words stand strolling behind some old lady in a Cutlass with Blanch in the passenger seat.
Essentially what I am trying to say is, fighting the notorious speeding ticket is simple if you know where to look for the knowledge you need to beat it.

The younger you are, the easier it is to take technology for granted. Whether you are cynical or, like me, more easily entertained, I find mapping services like G-Maps simply miraculous. The people who have put together these tools over the last 10 years are brilliant.

If you never utilized this excellent service, go to maps.google.com right now. It doesn’t matter where you are going… the shortest most up to date driving instructions and road maps are seconds away.

G-Maps has been my choice for a few years already. The know-how in the geo-mapping arena has advanced amazingly yielding miraculous immediate maps of most of the planet and directions to just about anywhere on planet Earth.

Below are brief reviews of G-Maps, MapQuest And Rand McNally maps, reading them should curtail your learning curve when you arrive.

After years with MapQuest I typically use G-Maps currently (although Map Quest still has one very unique feature I will let you know about in a minute). My partiality for this Google service developed after finally examining their very easy to comprehend directions.

It is an astonishing bit of technology which will present you with both maps virtually anywhere in the world and detailed driving instructions in many countries.

G-maps is extremely feature rich and their manual does a much better job of explaining it than we can. With that in mind, let’s cover the main features, you will find heaps more when you explore the website.

You can view earth satellite images all over the world and superimpose streets on those satellite images, it’s awesome. All the key map categories are available to view.

You can zoom into Westminster Abbey in London and actually distinguish tourists walking around or see the traffic entering the on ramp of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Map overlays can be added for almost anywhere as well.

Another unique feature of G-Maps is that it lets you to amend the route it has laid out for you, simply by dragging the route marking to a different point. We often know alternate routes, learned by experience that we want to stick to. The other services will not let you change the path… with G-Maps it’s easy and immediate.

Rand McNally has been making maps since 1872, if you do the math, what you’ll see right away is that’s a very long time. All truck stops in the US as well as large gas stations retail Rand McNally maps. They are mostly in the printed map business but also have a website that provides on line maps and directions. They are a good way to cross check directions from other services.

MapQuest has been around since the good old days of the internet… 1996… so by e-standards, it’s very mature if not antique. AOL bought it in 2000 and remains in charge.

I could not count how many times Mapquest has provided me accurate road maps. They have first-rate US and European coverage but are definitely weaker on the rest of the planet. If you use them in the States, they are quite specific and typically reliable. The map accuracy drops off somewhat in high growth cities, mapping always lags hyper growth .

Map Quest has a “Gas Prices” icon right on the top menu bar that will search for the best gas or diesel costs anywhere in the US. This is a real money saver and personally, I check it before every fill up if I can.

Between the three of these websites, you should be able to find your way around anywhere on the planet.

Many states, Texas and Florida chief among them, have promoted the development of defensive driving courses. States have incentivised the private sector to develop these tuition based training facilities, by offering what amounts to moving violation credits. In many jurisdictions, this means you can have that speeding ticket wiped out in exchange for going to school. Some of these institutions even offer to let your learn over the internet instead of spending your Saturday sitting in a classroom.

For states to give up ticket revenue, something very positive must be going on. What’s at the root of this generosity is twofold. First and foremost, is the body count, especially among young folks 25 and under. The second is the insurance industry exerting powerful leverage to cut down on the cost of their vehicle insurance losses.

If you have had your license for anything more than a month, you already know what kind of foolishness goes on out on the road. Let’s be honest… you are really good at seeing other people do stupid things, so this article isn’t about whether you know right from wrong, is it? The goal is to remember what’s right and correct it, when it’s our turn to do something stupid.

Many of life’s challenges can be easily and successfully tackled if we learn to add a bit of pride in ourselves to the task at hand. You will quickly notice that you drive better if you are proud of your driving.

Driving a car is one of life’s ultimate freedoms. You can go virtually anywhere. Speed is exhilarating even under the speed limit. The rush of freedom emotions can cause drivers… especially younger ones… to lose track of their environment. It’s important to remember there are a lot of other people out there on the road with you.

When you realize that many of those other drivers you are out there with are amateurs and may well represent a serious danger to you and your passengers… is usually when the light goes on and you start to change your driving habits for the better.

We hope you get a good grasp of this simple and effective tool of pride in what you do. If you do than you will become an excellent driver quickly and stay one for the rest of your days.

If you understand this, then you are a good driver or well on your way to becoming one. Watch everything and everyone around you, from the time you turn the key to when you park at the end of the trip. Safe drivers live longer and spend a lot less money on insurance premiums… two admirable goals to achieve, wouldn’t you agree? And Texas defensive driving classes are here to help.

Mapquest.com has become the go to place for travelers seeking driving directions. Getting accurate directions to anywhere in the US (or Europe) is as easy as typing in your starting and ending point into search boxes on the Mapquest.com home page. However, many people overlook the other features that Map quest offers. Features like route builder allow you to add stops to your trip, map quest maps give you detailed information about your destination, and they even let you track gas prices in the area you are traveling to ensure you get the best price at the pump. All the features Mapquest.com offers make finding driving directions and researching you trip easy.

One of the most innovative features of Mapquest.com is its route builder. You can add stops between your starting point and your destination and Map Quest will give you the best way to reach all of your stops. Map Quest makes it easy to get driving directions that include multiple stops, just plug each stop into the driving directions search box and the route is calculated for you. This keeps you driving directions simple with all the stops you need included in one set of directions.

Another feature Mapquest.com offers besides driving directions is its detailed maps of any destination. Before you arrive you can look at where you will be traveling to and plan your itinerary and activities. You can view maps in either street or aerial view to get a detailed look at where you are going. Map Quest Maps let you see hotels, museums, parks, anything of interest once you reach your destination. You can then plan you driving or walking route once you arrive.

With skyrocketing gas prices, finding the lowest prices while traveling is important to most travelers. Map Quest lets you pair gas prices with your driving directions so you always know where to find the lowest prices. Just input the area you are traveling to in the gas price finder on the website and they will display prices from area gas stations. No more searching for the best price, Map Quest does all the leg work for you.

If you frequently need driving directions finding them is easier at Mapquest.com because they let you save place settings. You can save your home, work, or other address and it will be there for you every time you perform a search saving you time. Map Quest also saves the searches you perform when looking for driving directions. That way if you need to see a search you have already preformed you can quickly bring it up by clicking on the “saved and recent” button on their homepage.

Map Quest’s features allow you to find much more than just driving directions. They give you what you need to get to your destination quickly and efficiently and offer more than just driving directions. Route builder, maps, and gas price locator make traveling easy by giving you more options, detailed information and saving you money.
